Due to the growth of our company and affiliates, we’re seeking an hourly-level Payroll Tech II to help with a variety of different payroll duties.

What You’ll Do
As a Payroll Tech II, you’ll work within Colony Brand’s Payroll department and perform different duties related to payroll. You will be responsible for processing electronic and manual time records, maintaining processing control records, and validating employee and pay information.
You’ll also be responsible for:
• Balancing the labor report data
• Maintaining PTO records for employees
• Assisting with the distribution of W-2’s
• Researching invalid data from preliminary payroll reports and resolving discrepancies

Qualifications

We need a cross-functional player with professional level communication skills, who thrives on decision making and working in a team environment. Ideally, you will possess above average organization skills and be able to perform work neatly and accurately. In addition, we are looking for:
• Someone who possesses an Associates Degree in Accounting and/or similar work or work considered preparatory to the position.
• The ability to operate a ten key calculator proficiently.
• Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, and MS Outlook.
• Someone who possess the understanding and importance of confidentiality.

This position offers the flexibility to work at our headquarters in Monroe, WI, and work from home (hybrid). To take advantage of the hybrid work option, you must:
• Have reliable, high-speed internet and appropriate home office ergonomics
• Be able to travel to Monroe, WI 2-3 times weekly
• Maintain a residence in Wisconsin, Iowa, or Illinois
