The Corporate Communications Professional supports and executes internal and external communications. This role helps develop and execute communications with the Corporate Communications team, supports division and business line communications, and helps drive employee engagement across HTLF.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports communications activities including, but not limited to internal and external communications, projects and employee meetings.
  • Maintains and executes project plans.
  • Supports multi-platform communication tools including email, intranet, social media, video, screen savers and digital displays.
  • Measures and evaluates success against communications goals.
  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Works closely with business partners to draft and edit communications, talking points and presentations, effectively capturing the voice and strategic priorities of the organization.
  • Helps ensure core messages are consistent across the organization and reflect HTLF strategic priorities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Completes annual E-Learning Plan and Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) training as assigned and keeps up-to-date knowledge of BSA as it relates to the job function.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelors in Advertising, Business Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Media, Public Relations or related field required.
  • 3-5 years experience managing marketing, public relations, or communications projects required.
  • Banking or other financial experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Must possess excellent organization and planning skills; time and project management.
  • Excellent attention to detail, including strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes demanding and challenging environment, while maintaining perspective.
  • Ability to work alone or lead a team to get the job done, manage the flow of projects, programs and processes necessary to attract and retain customers to HTLF's banks.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and other applicable software applications.

The targeted salary for this role is:

$58,399.00 - $75,919.00

You may also be offered incentive compensation, and benefits. Benefits may include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Health Savings Account, Paid Time Off. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location of the specific role as well as work experience, education, and skills of the selected candidate.
