MISSION STATEMENT: To advocate for and help older people and people with physical or developmental disabilities secure needed services or benefits, live with dignity and security, and achieve maximum independence and quality of life. The goal of the Aging and Disability Resource Center program is to empower individuals to make informal choices and to streamline access to services.

The Aging & Disability Resource Center’s mission is to work with adults and their families who are impacted by aging, disability, and mental health or substance abuse issues. By providing information, assistance, education and advocacy, we will strive to enhance the independence and quality of life for the individual while supporting rights, honoring dignity and recognizing preferences.

The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Southwest Wisconsin, South-Grant County is part of a four county region in the Southwestern part of Wisconsin which include: Grant, Lafayette, Greene, and Iowa Counties.

For more than 80 years, the Center for Communication, Hearing & Deafness (formerly the Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing) has been providing needed services to children and adults throughout Wisconsin. Its mission is to provide and promote state-of-the-art services and technologies that enhance the quality of life of individuals with hearing loss. We are Wisconsin's hearing and speech resource.

Independence Residences, Inc., was founded in 1984 and incorporated in 1988 under the law of the state of New York. IRI was founded for the purpose of serving adults who have visual impairment, mental retardation, mental illness and emotional disturbances. By authority of its charter and response to the perceived need, IRI concentrated its first efforts on providing residential services.

The Arc promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetimes.

The Milwaukee Center for Independence has been a leading provider of life-changing programs and services for children and adults with disabilities, special needs and barriers to success since 1938.

This non-profit organization represents persons with mental illness and their families. It offers them support, education, and advocacy. Our members support each other in coping with their own illnesses or the illness of a family member, and work together to learn more about mental illness and available services and treatments. We also work to encourage the provision of support services, to promote legislation beneficial to people who have mental illness, to educate the community about mental illness, and to eliminate the stigma of mental illness.

NAMI Wisconsin's mission focuses on education, advocacy and support for persons with mental illness, their families and friends. The road to recovery usually begins with the first "What can I do?"
